Abortionists Turned Pro-Life

Of course, we hear about pro-aborts turning pro-life, and women who have abortions regret them and become pro-life. However, there is another group of people turned pro-life…abortionsists.

People who are pro-abortion push for the right to kill children. People who have abortions or push a woman to have one have allowed a child to be killed. People who are abortionists have, themselves, killed children through abortion. We need to pray for these abortion providers so that they will realize the immense injustice and evil of their actions. If we convert these abortionists, it will change the face of the abortion issue in America. Without abortionists, who would provide abortions?

Conversion for these people is possible. Read this amazing story from Dr. Bernard Nathanson, who unfortunately passed away last year:

After abortion was legalized in New York in 1970, [Dr. Bernard Nathanson] became the director of the Center for Reproductive and Sexual Health, which, in his talks as an abortion opponent, he often called “the largest abortion clinic in the Western world.”

In a widely reported 1974 article in The New England Journal of Medicine, “Deeper into Abortion,” Dr. Nathanson described his growing moral and medical qualms about abortion. “I am deeply troubled by my own increasing certainty that I had in fact presided over 60,000 deaths.”

His unease was intensified by the images made available by the new technologies of fetoscopy and ultrasound.

‘For the first time, we could really see the human fetus, measure it, observe it, watch it, and indeed bond with it and love it,’ he later wrote in ‘The Hand of God: A Journey from Death to Life by the Abortion Doctor Who Changed His Mind’ (Regnery Publishing, 1996). ‘I began to do that.'”

We need to show these people the light. We need to show them that what they are doing is wrong, but that there is forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Pro-aborts can become pro-life, women who have abortions can become pro-life, and abortionists can become pro-life.
