Barack Obama-Pro-Abortion

From the moment he became the president of the U.S., Brack Obama has been relentlessly supporting the pro-abortion movement. In 2008, he appointed seven different pro-choicers to various important political positions. On Roe v. Wade’s 36th anniversary, Obama released his statement on his position on abortion: “[T]his decision not only protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, but stands for a broader principle: That government should not intrude on our most private family matters.” In March of 2009, the Obama administration shut out pro-life groups, but not pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood, to attend a White House sponsored health care summit. At a United Nations meeting later that month, he promoted an unlimited right to abortion. His officials also deny any negative effects on women due to abortion. In April, the administration released a document that claimed pro-life people may be violent and dangerous. Obama’s new budget plan later that year called for tax-payers funding of abortion. That budget also eliminated all federal funding for abstinence only programs. In September, he waited two days before commenting on the shooting of a pro-life advocate, but commented immediately when an abortion practitioner was shot. Obama’s website promotes abortion. Obama’s overwhelmingly pro-abortion record is clear. This is only a small fraction of what he has done for abortion. You can read his full record here.
